  • Provides significant reduction in yarn / metal and yarn / yarn friction, 
  • Smooth running of the yarn in subsequent processing and good yarn unwinding characteristics
  • Significantly reduces oil splashing and misting during high speed texturing, helping to maintain clean running conditions.
  • Provides excellent anti-static properties to the yarn.
  • Non-corrosive to metals normally used in textile machinery.
  • Can be readily removed from fabric to low oil residues.
  • Good resistance to oxidation and yellowing

Used for continuous filament synthetic yarns, in particular textured polyester and nylon produced on medium speed texturing machinery (up to 600m / min yarn speed) 

Suitable for application to dyed and undyed yarns intended for knitting or weaving

It is not shear sensitive and the anti-splash properties are not affected by pumping the oil

Suitable for application by roller and trough 

Can be applied during cone winding

Suggested amount to apply

Nylon yarns – 1% to 3% oil on the weight of the fibre is recommended

Polyester yarns – 2% to 5% oil on the weight of the fibre is recommended
