  • Good yarn unwinding characteristics
  • Significantly reduces oil splashing and misting during high speed texturing, helping to maintain clean running conditions.
  • Provides excellent anti-static properties to the yarn.
  • Non-corrosive to metals normally used in textile machinery.
  • Can be readily removed from fabric to low oil residues.
  • Does not discolour, oxidise or alter characteristics of yarns and fabrics

Used for lubricating continuous filament polyester or nylon yarn textured on high speed equipment

To be applied during yarn texturing by roller and trough

*Suitable for application by Rieter Scragg Metoil systems 

Suggested amounts for application: 

Polyester – normally 2% to 4% oil on the weight of the yarn.

Nylon – normally 1.5% to 2% oil on the weight of the yarn.

It is recommended that scouring temperatures should not exceed 60°C.
