Supporting young talent at a global stage

Vickers Oils are proud to be sponsoring Team England fly the flag for Yorkshire in Dance World Cup Finals 2020, the world’s biggest dance competition.

A group of 14 pupils aged 10 to 16, all students of the ElliTe Studios, a dance school in Wakefield, have qualified for the second year in a row to represent Team England in the Dance World Cup Finals that will be held in Rome from 26th June to 4th July 2020.

School Principal, Sam Bell, said ‘Qualifying to represent Team England is a huge achievement as there are so many incredible dancers competing for 2-3 places from throughout the entire country. Having the honour of being the first and only school from Yorkshire last year was the icing on the cake. Putting Yorkshire Ballet dancers on the world stage raises standards and is hugely inspiring for our pupils.’
