Vickers Oils proudly announced the formal opening of its second manufacturing facility in Hunslet, Leeds, dedicated to the production of Vickers Oils Food Grade Lubricants and greases range. This momentous occasion marks a significant milestone for the company.
The inaugural ceremony, graced by respectable guests including The Rt Hon Hilary Benn, Labour MP for Leeds Central, showcased Vickers Oils’ unwavering commitment to innovation and long-term sustainability.
Hilary Benn, reflecting on his previous visit to the company during the opening of their new laboratory in 2019, commended Vickers Oils for its sustainable and forward-thinking approach, emphasising the positive impact the new facility will have on both the business and the local community.
The event, attended by a diverse audience comprising industry professionals, educational partners, local councillors, and the dedicated Vickers Oils team involved a guided tour of the premises, complemented by cupcakes and coffee sourced from local businesses, further highlighting Vickers Oils’ commitment to supporting the community.
